On a beautiful day, there are few excellent things to do than to walk outdoors down the Chicago Riverwalk. This is a 1.25-mile walk down the south bank on the Chicago River. If you do not want to walk, you can take a boat tour or go kayaking on the river. You can also enjoy the public gardens or have dinner at one of the many eateries that line this selection of Chicago. The park is free for visitors though if you choose to travel here in the winter, the walk is a bit frigid.
